The first Fire Starter lightning talks/micro conference was a success. The organizer would like to thank all 2,000 of you who attended.

It was done in our humble little office, and we managed to make our guests loved each other by sitting tightly together.

We were sometimes asked why we do this event.

The seven speakers were great and the talks were action packed. They took they time to prepare and came all the way to our place so we’d like to specially mention them:

5. Dr. David Young (especially for putting up with non-functioning cab drivers)

The PowerPoint karaoke were moderate (actually kind of a dud), so we are gonna have to figure how to do impromptu humor with military precision. You know what they say, the worst thing that can happen is nobody laugh at you.

It’s quite possible there will be subsequent episodes. Given that I wanted to have 10,000 people turn up instead of 2,000 (by which I mean 20), you can why I wanna do it again just because I can.
